Ryan Murgatroyd and Kosta Karatamoglou, both established DJs and well-respected house producers have come together to form "Crazy White Boy". The two met at the Soul Candi Institute of Music where Ryan is the Director and was also a lecturer and both decided to work together. Since then, the duo has had tremendous success since the group was formed in 2008. Their hit single "Phati" debuted on Soul Candi Sessions 4 which went on to sell 42,000 units - hitting the platinum status and establishing the duo as hit-makers.
Their music has been described as a blend of Kwaito and House rhythms with little elements of electro, which the duo has coined as "Ghetto Tech". It is this kind of music that has earned Crazy White Boy multiple Gold and Platinum selling albums, a South African Music Awards (SAMA) nomination for "Song of the Year" for their hit single, Love you Better in 2011 and a Metro Award nomination for "Best Group Album" in 2013.
Their latest single, Zoma has been topping the charts on most radio stations.
