Ntokozo Mbambo is one of the most talented and creative musicians that South Africa has to offer. She is a recording Gospel artist and, she attributes her music career to the church. Her singing career was introduced to the world by her Parents (Mr and Mrs J Mbambo) who gave her the platform to sing in the church worship team. Her style and sound is one that touches one's body, soul and very being.
Born in Kwa-Zulu Natal in the township of Umlazi, she has grown into a well-rounded Songstress in her own right. In May 2008 she got married to Mr Nqubeko Mbatha and they are now based in the hub of South Africa; Johannesburg.
At the age of 15 she became the youngest member to join the sensational Gospel group "Joyous Celebration". In 2001 she got to release her first debut album called "Bambelela" which was successful.
In 2003 Ntokozo was invited to sing at St Louis Missouri in the USA performing songs from her debut album. While promoting her album in South Africa she was invited to be the opening act for Yolanda Adams and Cece Winans on their South African tours respectively.
In 2007 she recorded her live DVD/CD called "Keep on Believing" which was produced by Nqubeko Mbatha who later became her husband. "Keep on Believing" earned a Metro FM nomination under the category Best Gospel album in 2007 and three nominations at the 2008 Crown Gospel Music Awards.
